My Mission

I love getting to know my patients and learning about their life stories. I have learned so many life lessons from them over the years. With a customized approach, my goal is to improve the oral health of my patients and give them that smile they desire, while being mindful and treating them with respect. I am honored and grateful to serve the patients of my community.

Education & Continuing Education

Dr. Teresa Hitzeman has a Bachelor of Science Undergraduate degree from Rush University. Dr. Hitzeman earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Marquette University School of Dentistry.

Dr. Hitezman also holds a certification in American Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) as well as a certification in Enteral (oral) Conscious Sedation.

Professional Memberships

Dr. Teresa Hitzeman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, as well as the Brown-Door-Kewaunee Dental Association.

She is also an active member of the Women’s Dental Society of Green Bay.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Teresa Hitzeman has two grown sons, Tyler and Neal, and loves spending time with her family and friends. In her free time, Dr. Hitzeman enjoys hiking, personal fitness training, and traveling. Dr. Hitzeman considers herself to be a voracious reader.

“My mission as an individual in the dental profession is to make a lifetime difference in my patients’ lives through humor and excellent dental treatment. After that, to keep them maintaining their dental health for the rest of their lives. This will only happen with the continued growth of self and staff through continuing education and teamwork.”

Prior to earning her dental degree, Dr. Swing had a degree (RDH) in dental hygiene. Her love of dentistry began when she was a dental tech (assistant) in the Navy.

Dr. Swing regularly completes continuing education to stay up to date on the latest in dentistry. Her special areas of focus are root canal therapy and oral surgery.

Life & Hobbies

“I will have been in dentistry for 50 years in two years! It has been a GREAT adventure and life calling. Throughout my time in dentistry, I enjoyed my family. I enjoy camping, fishing, long drives, reading, stage shows, movies, my dogs, and cooking. My hobbies over the years have come and gone but the above have remained.”
